I have owned Ray Vacs, Polaris, Navigator, and now the Polaris ATM. I am thouroughly satisfied with the Polaris ATMs performance. I do wish it cleaned the steps but it out performs the Hayward Navigator as it has a stronger suction and climbs the walls of my gunite pool. My pool is screened enclosed so the Polaris ATM is there to get small particulant matter in the pool as I do not have leaves or large matter in the pool so I can not speak as to the Polaris ATMs performance under those conditions. Since the Polaris ATM is vacuum driven it does not need a separate pump as does the Polaris and Ray Vac. If the Polaris ATM is as maintenance free as the Navigator then it is a worth while investment for the in ground pool owner. I have had the Polaris ATM for three months now and no problems!

The Polaris ATV starts out great. I can't find another product that works as well as the ATV, but sadly, this is my THIRD one. They keep breaking down. I keep coming back for more.

Excellent product works well especially in our monsoon storms. Picks up the orange leaves and most of the rocks with no problems at all.
Delivery was prompt however box was a little damaged - thankfully it did not affect the cleaner.

Works well when it does it's automatic reverse. That stopped working a few months ago and, as a result, it gets hung up and needs to be dislodged. Not as good as the Previous sweeps that I have had.

works fine when it works, but just as soon as it is out of warranty it needs new parts which are outrageously expensive

I have a 15,000 gallon salt water pool. I also have an Oak Tree that drops leaves into the pool at times. The cleaner cleans my pool in 1 hour comapred to the old one at 3 hours. Even with leaves and debris from storms, it picks up everything. This has made my life easier.

Often gets stuck on leaves, requires supervision. Sometimes comes off of the tube and gets stuck at the bottom of the pool. However, when it functions properly, it does a very good job and I am glad to have it.

It cleans my in-ground pool without a problem. It even climbs the walls and steps. Once it hit's the pools ledge, it falls back into the pool. It's awesome and very easy to use!

Way easier to maintain than our old more expensive pool cleaner. It jams just as often but the fix is a whole lot easier. And it actually gets all the way to the top of the wall before coming back down. Our pool service says we have the cleanest pool that they take care of ever since we switched to the Polarus.

The product does clean very well.
The only watch-outs are....it sometimes gets hung-up in the ladder and you need to adjust your water flow with your return valves to get enough pressure for it to operate at its peak performance.

This product is very good at cleaning dirt and sand out of pool. Not so great with leaves, which requires supervision as the leaves get caught/hung up in machine.
